Marketplace Safety Guidelines

Avoid scams and complete secure furniture transactions.

1. Never Pay in Advance

Do not send money (even partial booking fees or token deposits) to a seller before seeing and inspecting the furniture in person. Online scams often request advance courier/transport fee deposits and disappear immediately after receiving funds.

2. Meet in a Safe, Populated Place

When inspecting items or handing over cash, choose a busy, public location during daylight hours. If visiting a private residence, bring a family member or friend with you.

3. Verify Bank Transfers Directly

Sellers should never hand over furniture based on payment receipts shown on a buyer\'s screen. Always check your actual banking app balance or official bank SMS to ensure funds have arrived in your account.
