How to Upload Furniture Photos
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Instructions Step-by-Step
Know the Upload Constraints
You can upload up to 5 photos per listing. The uploader accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP formats under 5MB per file.
Prepare the Setup
Place the furniture in a clean, uncluttered space. Clean the surface and vacuum fabric cushions before taking photos.
Shoot in Soft Natural Light
Take photos during the day near a window or outdoors. Avoid harsh camera flashes or dark room bulb lighting, which distort colors.
Capture Multiple Angles
Upload a full front view, side angles, back view, and close-ups of the joints, wood grain, fabric texture, or cosmetic scratches.
Set the Cover Image
The first slot in your uploader grid is marked with a "COVER" badge. Drag and drop your best photo into this position to display it on the browse feed.
Important Notes
- Photos must represent the actual item in a home setting. Stock photos or catalog screenshots are not approved.
- The upload interface shows a real-time count of your uploaded photos out of the maximum 5.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Uploading dark, blurry, or low-resolution images. Useful photos make the item's visible condition easier to assess.
- Using screenshots of pictures from your phone gallery instead of uploading the original photo files.
Troubleshooting
- If your upload fails, confirm that the file is not corrupted and matches the supported JPG, PNG, or WEBP formats.
- If images appear rotated, edit the original image on your phone to correct the orientation before uploading again.
